Catholic Charities of Putnam County Provides various kinds of assistance to needy and homeless people.
City of Gainesville Community Development Block Grants – Works to improve the quality of life for low and moderate income residents and neighborhoods by managing the CDBG and HOME programs.
CDS Family & Behavioral Health Services, Inc. Provides counseling for troubled youth and their families, a temporary shelter for runaway youth, and substance abuse counseling and programs.
FloridaWorks/One-Stop Career Center Provides free career counseling, employment workshops, resume and interview assistance, job leads, and other services for those seeking employment.
Florida Department of Children and Families Provides food stamps, temporary cash assistance, and Medicaid assistance.
Gainesville Community Ministry Provides a wide variety of basic necessities for low income and homeless persons in a faith based environment.
Gainesville Housing Authority Provides quality public housing or rental assistance to certified clients in the City of Gainesville.
Gainesville Police Department Provides law enforcement services to all citizens of Gainesville, and works closely with the homeless coalition.
Grace Ministry of Florida Grace Ministry is a Christian-based Addiction Recovery ministry in Bell, Florida (Gilchrist County).
Helping Hands Clinic Provides a wide variety of free health care services to the poor and homeless.
Holy Trinity Episcopal Church Provides to the homeless a breakfast on Sunday mornings and on Tuesdays and Thursdays 11-1 p.m. provides assistance in obtaining birth certificates and Florida IDs plus limited assistance with prescription medications.
Home Van Brings meals and supplies to unsheltered homeless persons twice a week.
Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN) Provides shelter, supportive care, meals, and case management to homeless families and children.
Lazarus Restoration Ministries Provides emergency shelter, transitional housing, supportive services, and case management to homeless families enrolled in the Self-Sufficiency Program.
Lee Conlee House Provides emergency shelter, support groups, intervention programs, and children’s services for victims of domestic violence in Putnam County.
Meridian Behavioral Healthcare Meridian Behavioral Healthcare: Provides a wide range of mental health and substance abuse services, including the PATH and HOPE programs directed to the homeless.
Peaceful Paths Provides emergency and transitional shelter and comprehensive services to victims of domestic violence in Alachua County.
Pleasant Place Provides housing and supportive services to pregnant or parenting teenage mothers.
St. Francis House Provide emergency shelter for all homeless persons, case management, and comprehensive support services.
Trinity United Methodist Church Supports and participates in local homeless ministries and agencies such as St. Francis House, House of Hope, and Interfaith Hospitality Network.  Also coordinates the annual Thanksgiving Basket program.
Three Rivers Legal Services Provides low-cost or free legal counsel in civil matters to low income individuals and families.
The United Way 2-1-1 Provides detailed information/referral for supportive social services in Alachua and surrounding counties.
VETSPACE Provides transitional and permanent supportive housing and support services to veterans.
